The God kind of love

"But there's somebody out there with eyes open wide,
Who loves to embrace your joy and tears from your eyes,
He's hope for the hopeless, he will carry the burden..........,
............To get you through your crisis in life..."

These are lyrics of a song by Joni Lamb of the christian channel Daystar.
I sometimes watch this channel because I love Jesus and Mary, especially starting from 6:30Pm till 8:30pm they have got some great instrumental music and some breathtaking scenaries from North America., anyways,...

Now consider these Valentine day statements:
"I love him because he likes the things I like"
"I love her because she is so beautiful"
"I love him because he comes from the same background as I do"
"I love her because she too like me is an MBA"
"I love him because he is an architect....." and so snd so

All these statements of love have a condition attached to them. In other words they are conditional. Now compare these statements with the lyrics on the top. That statement is unconditional.

True love, in my opinion, should be unconditional & everlasting. Everlasting because its unconditional. And unconditional because its lasts and lasts and never ends.

If somebody says that he/she loves someone because they share some common interests then both people are immature in their understanding of love. A person's interests changes over time, eg I am intetested in cricket today, but may be 10 years from now cricket won't interest me, I would rather then be interested in life insurance, haha. Jokes apart, the question is that if love is based upon common interests then can it pass the test of time? Sure some common grounds is necessary for love to trigger, but that should not be the reason for loving. In fact there should be no reason for loving. Absolutely no reason. The answer to "why you love someone" should always be "I don't know".

Thats what is called the God kind of love.
